“Depression can often be romanticized through art, making it out to be more beautiful than it really is. The truth about how it is? Ugly, abrasive, disturbing, and scary. It’s the feeling of falling through a dark pit forever with no way to climb out. It’s a curse that no one should have to deal with or be judged for having.
People struggling with it have many different ways to cope. As for me, composing this haunting music is a good outlet. I am able to perfectly express how depression and insanity sound from my perspective.
I hope that my album can resonate with those who suffer and provide clarity to those who don’t, especially my family and friends who have supported me through my very rough and dark times; I can never thank them enough for that.”
